May we wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR! We’re kicking off ’20 with a big bang:

It’s been a long time, oh ye worshippers at the alter of the Shug, but this week our classic New Zealand hop monster is back in cans @singlecutnorth and @singlecutqns. Never had the chance to get in on the experience? Here’s our take:

DDH MO’ SHUGGIE: New Zealand hopped DDH IPA, 7.2%. TASTE NOW – Intense aroma of ripe and juicy pineapple, white grape, cloudberries, chili, sweet/tart mango, dank pepper, kiwis, fresh ruby red grapefruit, yuzu, with a linger of sweet pear nectar and lime

TASTE LATER – Our Southern Hemisphere focused beers are the most interesting to taste as they evolve, almost totally changing as the months go by. At 45-60 days, the pallet shifts to become much more sweet grapefruit focused, and as 60+ days goes on, it’s settles into a juicy/peppery combo of dank mango that’s super food friendly. Absolutely worth holding a few.

As always, the Royal Order Of Rulpsen Loyalty Card members get first dibs on Weds/Thurs, with a full release on Friday at the tap rooms. Unfortunately due to the scarcity of our very specific buds, this will be the only Mo Shuggie brew this year and will be Tap Room only. Don’t sleep!
