Here’s one that had a great majority of our Beersmiths off-the-chart giddy with anticipation: a request from Gibson guitars to provide our beer (and only our beer) as a permanent tap at their NYC VIP Showroom! Mark, Brian and Rich headed over faster than the speed of sound (their showroom resides in the space that was famous recording studio “The Hit Factory” on W54th St).
The showroom exists for ROCK STARS to play and select instruments – the roster of guitarists that had visited was very much a “who’s who” of noteworthy musicians. You name them, they’d been, shook the walls and partied ’til dawn. Here’s some pics:
Mark, Rich and Brian in one of the guitar rooms. Can you say “kids in a candy store”?
Outside the in-house luthiers shop (who is a rock star of sorts in his own right) was this collection of names removed from the cases of the owner’s serviced guitar.
The luthier’s shop was filled with celebrity musician’s guitars all queued for service
Deep into the showroom (the place is huge) was an actual club where the high and mighty play and party. And will soon drink SingleCut.
This was the main recording studio of the former “Hit Factory”. Hallowed ground indeed.
There were great pics everywhere of Gibson artists rocking and the subsequent rolling
Joe and Brian. What a day! – Rulpsen
